December 7, 1941 is a day that will always be remembered for its violence and tragedy. Described as the “day that will live in infamy,” this was the day that Japan launched a surprise attach on American land in the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Thousands of American sailors and soldiers lost their lives, and the USS Arizona battleship sank, trapping 1,177 servicemen inside as water rushed in. This tour begins with a documentary film with live footage from the attack. You’ll visit the Arizona Memorial aboard a Navy boat. From there, you’ll see the wreckage of the USS Arizona, which has remained untouched all these years. In fact, the Arizona still leaks oil, which has become known as the “black tears” of the Arizona. You’ll also view the USS Bowfin submarine and the U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters. Browse the Arizona Memorial World War II museum. You’ll come away with a renewed appreciation for history and for the many unsung American heroes.

Afterward, you’ll return to the visitor’s center where you’ll travel to the Aloha Flea Market of Swap Meet. Strike a deal with the vendors on luggage, island apparel, beautiful wood carvings, and unique local art. These are the lowest prices you’ll find in the entire state! Buy a gift for a loved one or a keepsake for yourself. While you browse, you’ll also have the opportunity to see the Aloha stadium, which hosts the Pro Bowl, the NFL’s annual all-star exhibition.

After a couple hours of shopping, travel back to Waikiki in our luxury vans. Designed for comfort, these vehicles feature air-conditioning, roomy seats, and wide windows. You’ll be back in plenty of time to relax and reflect on the wonderful memories of the day.
