These social creatures thrive at Pawai Bay, an isolated location to the north of Kailua-Kona. Under the instruction of an experienced snorkeler, you’ll be given the necessary snorkeling equipment and shown important snorkeling techniques. Then you can dive right in, discovering the depths of this remarkable place and befriending a lively dolphin or two. The water at Pawai Bay is extremely clear, allowing you to see distances up to 100 feet. And in addition to the dolphins, you’ll be able to witness countless tropical fish, an expansive coral reef, and you may even spot a green sea turtle or a moray eel. This is by far the best portion of the reef for snorkeling.

You’ll travel by boat to this exquisite area. Riding in a lavish, sixty-five-foot catamaran named Kanoa II, you’ll feel like royalty as you relax on the deck, dance to the music of our sound system, and enjoy a drink from the bar. The boat also offers freshwater showers, clean restrooms, diving platforms, and an exciting slide. During your swim in the water, you can also play with a variety of floating water toys.
