Zip along the Na Pali Coast of Kauai aboard a motorized 24 foot zodiac. These rigid hull inflatable rafts are virtually unsinkable and can navigate through all types of water. The boat’s shallow draft allows the captain to take you inside sea caves and under cascading waterfalls. The raft is also capable of landing at secluded beaches and reefs for the best snorkeling in Kauai. There is comfortable seating all around and a canopy that will give some respite from the sun. Looking for a thrill ride? Standing in the bow of the raft adds another element of excitement to your adventure.

These rafts go fast so you will see the best of Na Pali’s soaring jagged cliffs, verdant emerald valleys, and lava tubes and arches. Sea conditions permitting, your captain will land at Nualolo Kai, a remote beach where you can hike to the ruins of an 800 year old fishing village. The captains are all knowledgeable about the people who called Kauai home so you will learn about their culture and history.

Then head back to the water for some world class snorkeling. Kauai’s waters are home to some of the most fascinating aquatic wildlife in the world. You will see pods of dolphins swimming in the surf and the Hawaiian green sea turtle whose curious habit of sunning on the beach only happens on the most northwestern islands. There are also scores of vivid neon reef fish darting about the crystalline water. During the winter months, you may also glimpse humpback whales. These gentle giants migrate to Hawaii’s warm waters from December through April.
