Discover The North Shore And Pearl Harbor Combo
Known around the world for its beautiful, warm beaches and big waves, the North Shore of Oahu is something you won’t want to miss. See world-class surfers ride the waves at the famous Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach. You’ll also get a chance to glimpse Waimea Bay, where you’ll see the world’s largest shorebreak. Play in the tropical waters or walk along the shoreline. There are lots of fun things to do on the seven-mile miracle, the largest strip of beach on the island.
This exciting tour of the island also includes a drive through Haleiwa, a historic town that dates back to the turn of the century. Now a friendly surfing tow, Haleiwa has retained its rustic feel and quaint atmosphere. You’ll also get a spectacular view of the island at Laie Point and Pali Lookout, which also provides a stunning view of the beautiful Nuuanu Valley.
Along the way, you’ll view pineapple, coffee and banana plantations. Plus, you’ll have the unique chance to tour the Dole Pineapple Plantation. And did you know that Oahu has starred in several blockbuster hits? You’ll actually see the Hollywood film locations for the television show Lost and smash hit movie Jurassic Park. Kahana Bay is another stop on the tour. A beautiful seascape with rolling green mountains in the background, this was the film location for Fantasy Island.
You’ll also stop at the giant green sea turtle beach, where these majestic animals are known to roam. Finally, you’ll visit the tranquil and beautiful Byuodo-In Temple, which is a replica of an ancient Buddhist temple in Japan.
