During mating season, male whales will compete over females and butt heads, leap and splash to impress the female whales. On a lucky day you might even spot a mother with her calf roaming the water. The whales enjoy Hawaii just as much as humans do and sometimes they come very close to the boat to take a look at us fascinating creatures.
