Kauai’s Na Pali Coast is a seventeen mile stretch of shoreline that boasts soaring jagged cliffs, pristine beaches, bridal veil waterfalls, emerald green valleys, lava tubes and arches, and some of the most diverse animal and plant life in the world. There is no better time to experience the bucolic splendor of this area than in the amber glow of sunset.

Aside from the natural wonder of the island itself, you will have the opportunity to see many of the creatures that live in the crystalline waters. From spinner dolphins cavorting in the surf to the meanderings of Hawaii’s green sea turtles, you will have ample time to enjoy the sights of the world just below the water’s surface. During the season (December through April), you will also likely see the legendary humpback whales. These gentle giants migrate to Hawaii’s warm waters from Alaska during the winter months.

The unique hull design of the forty foot Catamaran Kahanu ensures a smoother ride through the surf than traditional monohull vessels. There is ample seating in the rear of the boat, and the forward deck allows for fantastic photographic opportunities. The Catamaran Kahanu is also equipped with a fully enclosed cabin that has large windows, so guests who choose to remain inside will have great views of Kauai’s beautiful sunset.

Your captain will be a Kauai native, and therefore able to answer any questions about the history of the island and its landmarks, or the people that called the Na Pali region home.
