Kailua Kayak Excursion
Kayaking along the Kaiula Bay is the perfect way to explore the waters and take in the breathtaking sites of Hawaii while getting a little exercise. Located on the eastern side of Oahu, the bay is a known feeding grounds for Hawaiian green sea turtles, who often make an appearance during the excursion. A skilled guide will show you all there is to see on this educational nature expedition, which caters to all skill levels except small children.
If you are staying at a hotel in Waikki, Kailua Sailboards will pick you up. At the kayaking shop, you will be fitted for all the necessary gear, including life jackets, lockers, and dry bags and briefed by an eco-guide. Additional supplies, such as sunscreen, snorkel gear, and waterproof cameras will also be available. In no time, you will be paddling through the water in your kayak with your guide and a small group of people.
After your kayaking adventure, you will be served a hot lunch at the kayak shop and offered more supplies to either snorkel or boogie board off the beach of Po’poia Island. You’ll have plenty of time to play in the water, discover various tropical fish and coral reefs, relax on the beach, and explore the island for nesting sea birds. With the Ko’olau Mountain Range and dormant volcanoes in the background, this island is a true paradise. Back at the Kaiula Sailboards and Kayaks shop, you’ll be given the opportunity to shower and change into dry clothes before you are driven back to your hotel.
