The clear, blue waters of Hawaii are filled with diverse and beautiful marine life, including the graceful and majestic spinner dolphin. These social animals have lived in Hawaii for centuries, and the local natives have long held a deep reverence for them. This is your chance to see why, watching them effortlessly glide through the water and maybe even swim right next to you. The spinner dolphins of Hawaii are unique from other spinner dolphins in shape and coloring. They can be identified by their dark gray backs, white or pink stomachs, and light gray flanks. You’ll also know the spinner dolphin by the way that it jumps high out of the water and spins its body several times before coming back down. Early morning is when they are at their most playful as they come together with other dolphins to socialize and play.

You’ll witness this morning ritual on our dolphin encounter and snorkel adventure, where you’re guaranteed to see a dolphin. You’ll be fitted with professional snorkeling equipment, including the facemask, snorkel, fins, and a lifejacket for your comfort and safety. Be careful not to splash around too much when you get in the water. Splashing could scare the dolphins away, and we want to do everything possible to show respect to these beautiful animals. Our experienced crew will teach you all you need to know about snorkeling and swimming with dolphins. From there, you simply relax and enjoy the underwater view.
