Kuaui’s Na Pali coast is a stunning area of steep jagged cliffs and verdant valleys that make the land virtually impossible to traverse. The cathedral cliffs run for miles along the deep blue waters of the Pacific. The waves have, over thousands of years, carved a number of sea caves and arches in the lava rock. Fluted cliffs and gushing bridal veil waterfalls dot this island paradise. Weather conditions permitting, you will also get a guided tour of the ruins of an ancient fishing village that survived on this harsh terrain. On this boating expedition, you will be able to explore this amazing landscape and personally see the natural wonders of Kauai’s most famous shoreline.

While touring the Na Pali Coast, you will also get to see the marine animals endemic to Kauai. Spinner dolphins perform aerial acrobatics and cavort in the surf while you enjoy the boat ride. You will also likely see some of Hawaii’s giant green sea turtles who can live over a century and grow to weigh up to 400 pounds. There are also over 600 species of vibrantly colored tropical fish darting about just below the surface of the crystalline water.

The captain and crew are all very knowledgeable on Hawaiian culture and lore, as well as the natural history of this unique part of Kauai. They will also be able to identify and explain the interesting characteristics of the native plants and marine animals you will encounter. The boat is an RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) which is capable of high speeds over the rough Hawaiian surf. This will provide a smoother ride than other types of vessels. The craft is small enough to maneuver into the sea caves for a better experience than larger boats can offer. The RIB also features a shaded area to escape the sun and a bathroom.
