The beaches of the Oahu are world-renowned for their powder-like, white sand and their breathtaking crested waves. While these beaches are particularly known for their great surfing conditions, they also provide some of the best waves for boogie boarding. Boogie boarding is a water activity that is truly for everyone and is fun for the most experienced of surfers or the novice completely new to water sports.

Boogie boarding is basically a form of surfing but without standing on the board. The board is much smaller and the user hugs it close to his or her body. Once positioned, the boarder then waits for a wave to come and they try to “catch” it by surfing or boogie boarding along with it. In Oahu, some of the best beaches for Boogie Boarding include Waikiki, Kailua, and Lanikai.
