Windsurfing is basically thought of as a combination of surfing and sailing but is really more of a combination of surfing, sailing, snowboarding, skateboarding and waterskiing. Windsurfers use a windsurf board (also called a sailboard) that is connected to a single sail by a flexible and free-rotating joint (called a U-Joint). While windsurfing, you will be able to jump through the waves, performing inverted loops or other spinning and freestyle maneuvers.
