Hawaii/Waikiki Restaurants
Sarento’s Top of the I – A Honolulu favorite. This fine Italian restaurant features live piano entertainment to accompany the outstanding cuisine, as well as beautiful views of Diamondhead.
Duke’s Canoe Club Waikiki – Popular with the locals, this casual seafood restaurant is often crowded, and with good reason. The food and the atmosphere are unbeatable!
The Oceanarium – This restaurant offers a different themed buffet each night. From every table, there is a view of the giant 3-storey aquarium that houses around 400 fish, as well as rays.
La Mer – A 5-star French restaurant with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. It is very upscale, and a collared shirt and tie is recommended.
Aaron’s – This stylish restaurant offers Continental fare with a twist of Asian and Mediterranean flavors. A little more upscale, it is recommended that guests come in dressy casual attire.
Keo’s – This restaurant is home to some of the best Thai cuisine anywhere.
Mei Sum Chinese Dim Sum Restaurant – Features selections of the tastiest morsels from Chinatown. Not much English is spoken here, but the food is outstanding.
Haleiwa
Jameson’s by the Sea – A lovely place featuring beautiful ocean views and delicious seafood favorites.
Cholo’s – Homemade Mexican cuisine is the specialty of the house. The food is authentic and delicious, and the ambience is lively and colorful.
Kailua
Baci Bistro – A charming and comfortable Italian place.
Buzz’s Original Steakhouse – A casual place to enjoy a steak, a burger, or even the salad bar. Come in from the beach, but wear your shoes!
Kapahulu
‘Ono Hawaiian Foods – A simple but delicious hangout for the locals. This is wear you come for authentic Hawaiian fare.
Bars and Clubs
Honolulu Tavern – A friendly and cozy place to enjoy a drink with the locals. Coconut Willie’s – An open-air bar that features live entertainment.
Scruples Beach Club – Located on Waikiki, you can enjoy tropical drinks and dance the night away!
Pipeline Café – A nightclub converted from a warehouse, this fun and casual club features dancing on the lower level, and a sports bar upstairs. Expect to see a celebrity or two here!
Rumours – A fun dance club that features music from the 1980’s.
Zanzabar – A very upscale nightclub with 2 dance floors, and oxygen bar, and a collection of Egyptian art.
Opium Den & Champagne Bar at Indigo’s – Offers a wide array of live entertainment, from jazz to disco and funk tunes spun by a dj.
The Shack – The only bar open late in southeast Oahu. This sports bar is a great place to stop for a hot burger and a cold beer after a day of snorkeling or diving.
