Sail along the beautiful Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head Crater, and Black Point as you cozy up on a large catamaran and watch a spectacular sunset. The golden rays of the warm sun sparkle on the water and paint the sky with vivid colors just before you witness the green flash. On the smooth ocean waters, you’ll have an unobstructed view of the horizon during this rare optical phenomenon, which occurs shortly after sunset and is characterized by a green spot appearing above the sun for a short time.

At times, a green ray shoots up from the sunset point. It will truly take you breath away. The catamaran moves along the Waikiki Beach, one of the most spectacular stretches of sand in the world. You’ll see the impressive vista of Diamond Head, located at the southern tip of the island. Formed during the Volcanic Series of Honolulu, this mountainous crater was created by hydromagmatic eruptions that destroyed two hundred thousand-year-old barrier reefs. And looking east, you’ll pass Black Point, the final portion of a cinder cone, situated east of the coastline.

The excursion takes place on the Outrigger Catamaran, a former racing championship vessel designed for comfort and luxury. At forty-five feet long and twenty-four feet wide this catamaran can easily accommodate up to forty-nine passengers. The vessel also features mid-deck seating, custom-made spectra nets for lazing, two heads, a bar, and a Red Cross certified crew.
