View the splendor of East Maui as you bike down the side of a volcano and through beautiful forests. It will be a smooth and easy ride that allows you to slow down and truly enjoy the island’s beauty. The day begins early in the morning at the top of the highest peak of Haleakala, the biggest inactive volcano on earth. You’ll be brought to this remote spot via our spacious shuttle just in time to see the sun rise over East Maui. The vivid colors of the horizon and the serenity that permeates this quiet place at dawn is a unique and awe-inspiring experience – one that you will always treasure. Afterward, you’ll be given the grand tour of the Haleakala National Park as you continue to ride along in our comfortable motor coach. You’ll witness barren volcanic landscapes as well as a tropical rainforest, and you’ll learn all about the ancient and modern Hawaiian culture from a knowledgeable tour guide. This special place is a safe haven for endangered animals – some of which can’t be found anywhere else.

From a height of 6,500 feet at the top of Haleakala Ranch, you’ll be equipped with a helmet, gloves, and windbreaker and hop onto a bicycle measured to suit you. From there, you’ll coast leisurely down the side of the volcano, enjoying an amazing view of mountains and valleys on Maui’s west side. There will be plenty of time to stop and take pictures of these spectacular vistas. You’ll also ride through lush forests, filled with eucalyptus and jacaranda trees. Finally, you’ll get back into one of our comfortable vans and relax as you drive from Pukalani to the coast. This is an outdoor adventure you’ll never forget!
