The most common whale to see is the Humpback whale, who travels to Hawaii every year to mate and give birth.  They come to Hawaii from Alaska, a trip that takes approximately four to eight weeks.  They are often seen close to the shore and from the Trilogy boats.  These beautiful creatures put on quite a show as they slap their tails and fins, spy hop and jump high into the air to come down with a mammoth splash.  Humpback is a special sight to see as their numbers have decreased to only ten-thousand.  They are extremely endangered.  Frolicking along with the humpbacks, you are sure to see some dolphins as well.  This tour is a never-ending photo opportunity with its picturesque landscape in addition to its marine life.
